Beta-carotene is known for its aid in the proper function of the immune system and helps promote growth, strong bones, healthy skin, hair, teeth, and gums. Beta-carotene also has been used in the treatment of emphysema and hyperthyroidism as Beta-carotene protects mucous membranes of the mouth, nose, throat, and lungs. It also helps protect Vitamin C from oxidation so your Vitamin C will work better.

Bioavailability: The amount of a nutrient that enters the bloodstream and thus reaches the tissues and organs of the body.

Bioflavonoids: A group of brightly colored, water-soluble compounds found in certain plants. Bioflavonoids, Rutin, and Hesperidin, the companions of natural vitamin C, are known antioxidants and are believed to contribute to capillary integrity thereby preventing bruising. Bioflavonoids, along with Rutin and Hesperidin, aid Vitamin C in keeping connective tissues healthy as well as increasing the effectiveness of the other benefits of Vitamin C.

Biotin: A water-soluble, sulfur-containing B vitamin in which plays an essential role in the rnetabolism of carbohydrates, fats, and proteins.

Too much phosphorus can deplete calcium, if you drink lots of soft drinks, which have a high content of phosphorus, you may be depleting your body of calcium and increasing your chances of osteoporosis.

Nova’s chelated calcium tablets are the best form available.

Chlorophyll: The green pigment in plants which permits them to manufacture food with almost the same chemical structure as human blood! Chlorophyll possesses antibiotic and positive antibacterial action and can help as a wound-healing agent.

Choline (Bitartrate): Water soluble so must be replaced daily. Choline works with inositol to utilize fats and cholesterol and helps emulsify cholesterol so it doesn’t settle on artery walls or in the gall bladder. Choline is famous for its ability to penetrate the “blood-brain” barrier, which protects the brain, and go directly into the brain cells to produce a chemical that aids memory. Choline can help aid your liver in eliminating poisons and drugs from your system, so if you are a heavy drinker, this is good!!

It is necessary for normal bone and tooth structure, it is important for heart regularity and essential for normal kidney functioning. Phosphorus can help:  aid in growth and body repair, provide energy by helping in the metabolization of fats and starches, lessen the pain of arthritis, and promote healthy gums and teeth.

Potassium: The third most abundant element in the human body. This essential mineral is involved in acid-base balance, the transfer of nutrients into and out of cells, insulin secretion, muscle relaxation, and various enzyme reactions. It works with sodium to regulate the body’s water balance and normalize heart rhythms. Potassium can be depleted by both mental and physical stress. Potassium can help:  aid in clear thinking because it sends oxygen to the brain, help dispose of body wastes, assist in reducing blood pressure, and aid in allergy treatment.

Pyridoxine HCI Or Vitamin B6: Water soluble so must be replaced daily. B6 vitamins must be present for the production of antibodies and red blood cells. They help prevent various nervous and skin disorders, help alleviate nausea, promote proper synthesis of anti-aging nucleic acids, and help reduce night muscle spasms, leg cramps, and hand numbness. Vitamins B6 has been shown to decrease a diabetic’s requirement for insulin, so watch for this if you are a diabetic!

RDA (Recommended Daily Allowance): The minimum amount of desired nutrients considered essential for good health.
